A campaign to support the
American University of Afghanistan (AUAF)

Educating young Afghans who
DARE TO LEARN

Your donation will help us achieve three objectives:

1

DOUBLE ENROLLMENT

by 2027

Expanding our reach to meet the soaring demand while maintaining quality and sustainable cost-per-student.

2

MAINTAIN QUALITY

Online Education

Continuing to provide vital high-quality, high-touch, and high-tech online education.

3

ENSURE SECURITY

and Mental Wellness

Implementing comprehensive support systems for a safe learning environment in adverse climates.

In Afghanistan, women are desperate for the education they've been denied.

Afghanistan is the only country in the world today that restricts access to education for women above the 6th grade.

AUAF can only admit ONE of every FIFTY applicants.

Your support can help us meet the demand.

“AUAF is bringing us back to where we belong.
It’s the only home left for us… We dare to learn; we dare to change.

Three Tiers to Success

AUAF’s adaptive and innovative online education prepares, fosters, and advances thousands of Afghan students— a generation of young Afghan leaders determined to lead change within their country.

Tier 1

Prepare

Afghanistan is the only country in the world today that officially restricts access to education for women above the 6th grade. AUAF expanded its preparatory programs to bridge the growing divide between secondary and higher education, and reposition young Afghans back on their educational journey.

Tier 2

Foster

AUAF’s high-touch, high-quality American-style education fosters an environment conducive to leadership, agency, civic ideals, and economic advancement. Students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to define their individual and collective futures through a holistic education, including wrap-around services, such as wellness programs and extracurricular activities.

Tier 3

Advance

AUAF supports its graduates in achieving success across academic, private, and public sectors, providing guidance and resources as they advance in their careers and contribute to their fields.

Join us in our Dare to Learn campaign.

By contributing, you ensure that the dream of education remains alive for young Afghans who dare to learn.

Thousands of students need your support to continue their education.

“Since I was a child, my dream has been to get an education. In 2020, my family scraped together every coin and every bit of hope to send me to AUAF. I remember holding the acceptance letter, feeling like I was holding the key to a new life.

Months later, my dreams were quickly silenced.

In August 2021, when Kabul collapsed, it felt like my world turned upside down. Our family’s finances crumbled. My father was out of work. Once vibrant and active, my mother and sisters became shadows confined to the corners of our living room. Soon, the world outside became a distant memory. I was scared even to open a book.

Amidst this darkness, AUAF emerged as a beacon of hope. When AUAF announced they would provide full financial support, I felt like I could finally breathe again. Thanks to this full financial aid, my dream of an education and a brighter future endures.

AUAF has truly given me the gift of education. Logging into my classes daily from my Kabul home gives me purpose.”
