The all-female robotics team, the Afghan Dreamers, are doing their part in the fight against the global pandemic. The girls continue to inspire women seeking higher education in Afghanistan after making international headlines in 2017. This time, the Afghan Dreamers are helping to build cheap, affordable ventilators out of Toyota parts. The new team — Dyana Wahzadeh, Folernace Poya, Ellaham Mansori, Nahid Rahimi, and captain Somaya Faruqi — have been working with the program founder Roya Mahboob for about a year, and have already made an enormous impact on their community.
