Your participation in our Emergency Rescue Fund will empower this world-class institution to expand, not retreat.

 

AUAF is meeting this challenge by:

  • Building a university in exile with a recommitment to humanitarian education.
  • Partnering with regional universities and global education networks to allow our displaced students to resume their studies.
  • Supporting the various needs of students who have escaped Afghanistan to more than a dozen countries around the world and helping to bring them back into the AUAF community at select partner institutions.
  • Aiding the safe evacuation of the remaining AUAF family out of Afghanistan.
  • Facilitating AUAF operations as we continue to develop online, hybrid, and in-person curricula responsive to the ambitions and professional needs of Afghans everywhere.

We are working tirelessly and are in process of evacuating our students, staff, and faculty. The outpouring of support from institutions of higher education around the world to provide safe havens for the AUAF family has been truly amazing.

We need your help to fund these students, staff, and faculty as we evacuate them. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly to the operational costs of evacuation, transportation, and relocation. This includes funding for emergency flights, housing, food, and access to internet. With your support, our at-risk AUAF community -- more committed to education than ever -- can continue their AUAF education beyond borders.

FAUAF is a District of Columbia non-profit corporation and has been recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under Sections 501(c)(3) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to FAUAF will be tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
